Ok, let face the facts guys, we ALL FART, and anime characters are no exception in my book. I make a habit out of thinking about characters and how they fart, when they fart, and characters around them reaction.

Okay, so I really don’t know what you meant by “your character”, so I’m just going to go with the characters from my webcomic, I guess.
Ashley - I can see him accidentally letting one slip in class, then panicking from it. “WHY ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT ME WITH YOUR STUPID FACES?!! TH-THAT WASN’T FUCKING ME, OKAY, GOT IT?!! STOP STARING AT ME!! I’LL KICK ALL YOUR ASSES!! I-IT WASN’T ME DAMNIT!!!” Then he’d either bury his red face in his desk from embarrassment and vow to beat them up later, or he’d just save time and attempt it there on the spot. And then get a week’s worth of detention.
Kohl - His would be silent and discreet. If someone were to flash him an accusing glance he’d probably just stare back at them and walk away as if he honestly hadn’t done anything at all. Then maybe he’d make a mental note to take some Beano so it doesn’t happen again and possibly do something nice for the person in the future to set things right in an unspoken manner.
