There’s a weird story about that.
You see, we were all swapping stories on what happened in our worlds. The others were really amazing, you know? Saving both the worlds like that in their own dynamic way… not to mention all the fun they seemed to have on their own adventures…

But me?

My stories were nothing like theirs.
I’m just… me.
I know I’m not as brave as Taichi, or as strong as anyone else— especially Masaru. I don’t think I made much of a leader, either, and I wasn’t really… outgoing as the rest of them.
So, I just kinda kept quiet, and listened to everyone’s stories.

Except Masaru noticed.

So I told them everything.

They laughed at first when I told them how bad of a Tamer I was in the beginning.

But as I went on…

Their reactions varied.

After I finished, they all just kind of… stared.
—Except for Masaru. He started glaring at me again.

Only this time, I stared right back.

I didn’t know what to say when he held out his hand in front of me.
But he said this—
“You seemed like a pretty wimpy guy to be honest, but you’re a lot more than that. You’re just as gutsy as anyone one of us, and hell, you’re only ten, aren’t you? Still, you punched through a complete monster that even the most powerful of Digimon were scared of, saved the girl and both Worlds while you were at it. It was wrong of me to think of you as just some little kid with a digivice.”

That really surprised me.

But, after hearing his story and everything… I felt really honored.

So I’m proud to say that I respect Masaru the most.
Anyone else notice that Davis hit his head when he fell over? Subtle joke, ha.
And it really bugs me that the 5th leader DOESN’T HAVE GOOGLES. GET OUT.
