I’ve always thought there should be a word for this, like “dendrophagy.” But dendrophagy is taken for when things eat trees…so what do we call it when trees eat things?
Why do I vaguely remember seeing an eerie illustration of something similar to this image a very long time ago in a children’s book? Now it’s making me wonder…
