I want Craig Ferguson’s theme song on my ipod. Is that weird?
>>Not weird at all! Secretariat’s Song is my ringtone!
Panda says nope. Keep trying!
So I’ll just follow the Craig Ferguson formula with this.
-
I’m imagining a box.
Inside the box is a thing.
I don’t actually know what the thing is.
Only Panda, my hermit crab knows what it is.
First person to guess it right gets a free drawing of whatever they want.
Panda will use his magical telekinetic powers to let me know if you’ve won.
GO.

Excuses to draw! And yes, Secret of Kells is amazing. You get cool points.

(sorry if you’re in this and I didn’t link your tumblr – idk it.)
So now that I’ve worked my morning shift (going home late was probably a bad decision, but so so worth it) and replenished some of the many hours of lost sleep, I can now properly gush about WinterstuckDC.
Here are my pictures. They suck.
Honestly, it was way different than I imagined – and in so many wonderful ways. See, I thought since I wasn’t really well-schooled on Homestuck stuff that I’d be sort of isolated and wouldn’t have as much fun as everyone else. It couldn’t be further than the truth gang. These people went above and beyond my expectations in regards to friendliness and overall awesomeness! They were all so great and dumb and funny like me, so it went really well and I had a great time! I got to mingle with a lot of new faces and it was just super chill. The artists I got to hover over were adorable and quite talented. And so I shamelessly plugged my portfolio class I’m teaching this summer. Regret nothing. And I also meet someone whom I think loves rats as much as I do.
Cherie, Caitlin, Maria and Becca were my travel buds and they were all of course awesome. I was so freaking excited to see Staci!!! I don’t know why this girl makes me so happy inside, but she really does! Brenda and Noelle were also there and I got to creep on them for a bit. I’m in the business of making people uncomfortable, don’t worry. (I also heard something special happened at the skating rink, of which when I found out later I went B'AWWWW.)
Laura is like my bro away from brome, truly.
It was really great to reunite with good old Bamboozle again. She’s just awesome and whenever you’re around her you’re pretty much guaranteed good times and stories to tell. I also got to meet her boyfriend Adam, who was a true delight. They make a great pair. It was really good to see them both so happy. They also made a very successful team as hosts of this meet – with Laura’s excellent orchestration of large groups and pro bamboozling skills (trust me, she’s pro. gotten me outta some jams before even) and Adam’s knowledge and expertise with the area, we were able to have a picnic in the park, play a ton of games, visit two museums, and get 16ish people into an ice rink that was only accepting 5 more people. It was beautiful. Thanks so much to you guys if you’re reading this.
I got to sing the Shaving Cream song during one of the games. Laura and I (plus Gretchen!) once again defended our running titles and duo champs of the Baby I Love You game. I also brought a cake for the Johns (because I figured there’d be a lot of them) but there wasn’t a single one! There was one guy who showed up eventually with a John shirt, but he said he couldn’t eat it because of the wheat. Oh well. Apparently Vriska ended up with it. Hope you enjoy it, girl!
Pidgeycunt is a totally legit pokemon, according to Laura, btw.
Sadly, we didn’t get to stay for dinner after skating. We had a long drive ahead of us. But man, I gotta say, this experience totally surprised me in the most fantastic way. So many awesome people and good times. And Homestuck – it’s definitely growing more on me. I learned so much in this trip I can feel my braincells throbbing with knowledge and understanding. I still find the plot way confusing, and the comic is kind of still eh, but I’m really warming up to these characters. All their little quirks are pretty cute.
It was sort of like being dropped in a foreign country and starting to understand a language simply by constantly being exposed to it. BUT ANYWAY. You kids are cool and I had a great time. See y'all at Katsu. (Laura, Cocktailstuck. We are making this happen. I need my social drinking fix like you don’t even know.)
I feel I’ve gone on long enough, so here, have a video. (And when I say “Also I want to show this group of douchebags over here…”) I am NOT talking about the cool Eridan and Terezi people. There was a circle of douches in the background who made us stop our game of Sharks and Minnows earlier. May they all get food poisoning.)

Preface: So I used to belong to this sweet RP group called LOLocracy. Took a hiatus and have been trying to get back in. Sitting on an app for mod approval for a while. They’re busy, it’s cool.
Yesterday was my character’s birthday and last night I dreamt that I wrote a sweet action post about it. And I that I was writing it on a laptop in an autoshop’s garage, oddly. And Stef & Mara, two of its players, were there and were were chitchattin’ about nothing. (I dunno what they actually look like, so I didn’t get a good look at their faces in the dream.)
So then, the point of why I’m writing this happened. As soon as I submitted it the mods awakened from hibernation and slammed me for posting before approval. To which I was like,

And then later I dreamt that I was in the community chat and Alyssa told me that the aforementioned members had been totally inactive and dropped like half a year ago and there was only like, one person left in the group. Then I was like,
